The e-Timekeeper is designed, built and supplied by Microelectronics Digital Designs ("we", "us", "our").
Prices are shown on the website in Nigerian Naira and include delivery to the address you give us. We may change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order we have already confirmed.
Product photographs and descriptions are provided in good faith and are for reference. We continue to improve the product, and the accessories supplied with it — the power adapter, screws, drill template, cable and adapter — may differ in packaging or colour from the images shown. The e-Timekeeper controller itself is exactly as pictured.
The price you see is the price you pay. It includes delivery to your address and every charge associated with getting it to you. There is nothing further to pay when your order arrives.
Adding items to your basket is not an order. Your order is placed when you complete payment, and a contract between us is formed when we send you an order confirmation email containing your order number.
We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unexpectedly out of stock, if we cannot deliver to your location, or if a price has been listed in error. If we do, we will refund you in full.
Payment is taken at the time of ordering through Paystack, our payment provider. We do not see or store your card details.
Where an item is out of stock you may place a pre-order. Payment is taken at the time of the pre-order, and your unit is reserved from our next batch.
Allow up to 4 weeks. That is the longest you should expect to wait, not the normal wait — batches often arrive sooner, and we dispatch as soon as yours is ready rather than holding it to a date. We will email you with tracking the moment it ships. Either way this is an estimate, not a guaranteed date.
Because a pre-order is not dispatched for some weeks, you may cancel it for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched — the 24-hour limit in section 8 does not apply to pre-orders. Once dispatched, the returns process in section 8 applies.
We warrant that the device will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery. If it fails within that period we will repair or replace it.
The warranty covers the controller only. It does not cover the power adapter supplied with it.

If a device fails outside the warranty, we will still help. Contact us and we will quote for a repair.
To make a warranty claim, contact us first with your order number and a description of the fault. We will give you a return address in Nigeria. You are responsible for the cost of returning the device to us, and for packing it so it is not damaged in transit. We will cover the cost of sending the repaired or replaced device back to you.
Please do not send anything back before contacting us — a device that arrives without a prior claim reference may not be identifiable.
You may cancel an order for a full refund within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not yet been dispatched.
If you order at a weekend, you have until the end of that weekend to cancel. Refunds on weekend cancellations are issued on the next business day.
Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled. At that point the returns process below applies instead.
To cancel, email info@etimekeeper.net with your order number. Refunds are made to the account used for payment.
If you wish to return a delivered item, you must initiate the return within 10 days of delivery. Requests made after 10 days cannot be accepted.
To start a return, email info@etimekeeper.net with your order number and the reason. We will confirm the return and send you a return address. Please do not send anything back before we have confirmed it — an item that arrives unannounced may not be identifiable to your order.
How a return works:
None of the above affects your position where an item is faulty. A device that develops a fault within the warranty period is covered by section 7. A device that arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, will be put right at our cost — tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange collection.
If you are unsure what your school needs, please ask us before ordering. We would much rather spend ten minutes on the phone than have you buy the wrong thing.
We grant you a non-exclusive licence to install and use the e-Timekeeper application on computers within your organisation, for the purpose of operating e-Timekeeper devices you own. You may not sell, rent or redistribute it, or attempt to reverse-engineer it.
The application requires an e-Timekeeper device to function. Installing it without a device will not give you a working system.
Some features need an internet connection — generating high-quality announcement voices, internet radio, and firmware updates. Day-to-day bell and announcement operation does not.
We collect the details you give us when ordering — name, school, email, phone and delivery address — and use them only to process and deliver your order and to support you afterwards. We do not sell your information to anyone.
If you submit a reference or testimonial, we will not publish it until we have confirmed with you that you are happy for it to appear, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.
We will supply the product with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example loss of teaching time, or costs arising from a missed bell — and our total liability in connection with an order will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
These terms, and any contract formed under them, are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
